Happy Friday, everyone! Welcome to day 4 of this months Papertrey Ink countdown. Only one more day of projects after today and then all of the new products you have been drooling over will be available for purchase, including both Holiday Home and Polka Dot Parade #8.
For today I was in the mood for creating simple, stationery like cards. I chose to work with a Vintage Cream card base and then used Sweet Blush, Aqua Mist, Spring Moss and Pure Poppy as my colors.
We'll start with Polka Dot Parade #8 today and a sweet baby card. I simply stamped my sentiment (both included in PDP #8) along the bottom in Sweet Blush and Pure Poppy. I used one of the small flowers, from Polka Dot Parade #6, and stamped it on either side and then stamped the leaves from Polka Dot Parade #8. My pumpkin was die cut out of Sweet Blush cardstock and stamped with the polka dot image in the same color ink.
Next up are a few cards and tags using the new Holiday Home set. I started by stamping my home in Pure Poppy in the center of my card. On either side I stamped trees from one of my first sets, Merry & Bright. The stitching along the bottom was stamped using the Sew Simple Borders Mini stamp set and lastly, my sentiment was stamped.
For this next card I inked up the smaller houses in the Holiday Home set. To get them to line up perfectly I drew two light pencil lines and stamped across and then erased them. My sentiment was stamped and then I finished it off with more stitched lines along the bottom.
For my last card today (my favorite so far) I inked up a few different sets. I used the Snow Drifts Cover Plate (available September 15th) and built my winter scene around that. The striped trees are from Merry & Bright. 'Wishing you peace & joy' is from the Peace, Love & Joy Mini stamp set. 'From our home to yours' is from Holiday Home.
And up last for today is a set of tags featuring the images from Holiday Home as well as the trees from Merry & Bright! The tags were die cut using the Tag Sale #1 die. Sweet and simple and a perfect way to end day four! :)
Only one more day to go! Thank you all for visiting with me each day and for taking the time to comment. So appreciate each of you! Before you start your day be sure to stop by and see what these ladies have to share with ...
Until tomorrow...have a wonderful day!
