More Little Hot Rod - Day 4

Welcome to day 4 of this months Papertrey Ink countdown. Today I'll be sharing a couple of cards using Little Hot Rod but first I thought I'd show you what the die collection looks like.... 

They come all connected but you have the option of separating each of the images. I personally like when they are all connected. Makes it so easy to run through my die machine and get a bunch of dies at at once. I always love having the extras on hand. One of these days I'll show you my die collection...it's insane! :)

So for todays first card I had my little guy in mind. I always love to leave little notes in his room for him and this one will find it's way in there very soon. I used the Block Alphabet Upper die collection  to die cut the letters for his name.  I'm so proud of you! is from Little Hot Rod as well as the little car that was die cut and stamped. Along the bottom I stamped the Woodgrain background. A rickrack border and Orange Zest button complete this first one.

The second card for today was also stamped with the Woodgrain background. I used more letters from the Block Alphabet to spell out BEEP BEEP and then added a tiny star in between that I die cut using the Merry & Bright die collection. I also die cut a large circle using the Spellbinders classic circle die and stamped my sentiment and attached my car above that. The little clouds were also die cut and stamped and attached next to my car to make it look like smoke/exhaust coming out.

Introducing Little Hot Rod & Heart-2-Heart #6

Happy Wednesday everyone! Welcome to day 2 of the Papertrey Ink countdown for July. I'm so happy to hear your excitement over my 3 latest sets. Yesterday I shared projects using Floral Foliage and today I'm going to be sharing projects using my other two sets...Little Hot Rod and Heart-2-Heart #6.

 

Little Hot Rod

Heart-2-Heart #6

• features 6 images - 1 smiling sun, 1 large patterned cloud, 1 small solid cloud, 1 heart, 2 sentiments

For card #1 and 2 I combined the images from both Little Hot Rod and Heart-2-Heart #6. I die cut a piece of white cardstock using the Button Card die collection. I then used the lined notebook image from Way to Go, Kiddo! and stamped it along the bottom. After die cutting all of my pieces for both sets, I assembled my card. The plane, sentiment and small clouds are from Little Hot Rod and the cute little sun is from Heart-2-Heart #6. 

Next up is this colorful card using the train image from Little Hot Rod. The train comes in 3 pieces...the engine, the wagon and the swirly cable connector. All of the train pieces were die cut using the dies and then stamped with the coordinating image. The two clouds on the top of the card, as well as the sun, are from Heart-2-Heart #6. The smaller clouds (here I used them as smoke coming out of the smoke stack) and the sentiment are from Little Hot Rod. 

Up last for today is this sweet and simple card using the sun and cloud from Heart-2-Heart #6 again. The polka dot heart was die cut using the Heart-2-Heart #3 die. I added my sentimet and a Rickrack border along the bottom to complete it.
