Hello again, friends! Day two of the Papertrey Ink countdown is here and I have more cards to share with you using both of my new sets, Holiday Home and Polka Dot Parade #8. Both of these sets offer so many possibilities. I'm going to try and show you just as much as I can over the next few days.
**Holiday Home & Polka Dot Parade #8 will be available for purchase starting September 15th.**
Let's start today off with a card using the new Polka Dot Parade set that features that cute pumpkin. I went super girly on this card and used Lemon Tart, Orange Zest and Hibiscus for my color combo. I stamped my sentiment first, onto a piece of white cardstock, and then die cut my pumpkin and stamped it with Orange Zest ink. I die cut my pumpkin stem and leaves and then attached it all above my sentiment.
The flower was die cut out of Hibiscus felt using the Flipping Out die collection. I also used the flower from the Flipping Out stamp set to stamp the row of flowers below my sentiment. I added a lace doily and a pearl to the center of my flower to complete card #1.
Next up are a few cards using the new Holiday Home set. For the first card I mixed the new Snow Drifts Cover Plate (available September 15th) with the smaller houses in the Holiday Home set. I also embossed the cover plate with the Polka Dot Basics ll Impression Plate.
I added my little houses and finished the card off by adding a couple of rhinestones to each tree.
For card #3 I mixed a few different sets together. The tree was created with the leaves from Polka Dot Parade #6 and the tree trunk is from Tree Tops. The sun is from Back Pocket Basics and the stitching along the top and bottom is from Sew Simple Borders.
The house and sentiment are both from Holiday Home.
Lastly for today I have a Christmas card featuring the church image. I started by first embossing my white cardstock using the Giga Guide Lines l Impression Plate. I die cut my church and layered that over the sunburst that was die cut using the Back Pocket Basics die collection. I stamped my sentiment 'Christmas Blessings' and underneath stamped the year. There are two year images in the set, 2013 & 2014.
That wraps up day two for me. I hope you have enjoyed todays projects...thank you all so much for stopping by. Here are a few more stops for you...
Enjoy your day and I'll see you all tomorrow! :)
