Heart-2-Heart #12 - Day 5

Day 5 is here and I have one final post for you before the big Papertrey Ink release. Before I start I just want to thank you for visiting me each day and for your sweet comments. I appreciate it so very much! Now, for today I have just one card to share using the final set in the Heart-2-Heart series....Heart-2-Heart #12. Do you have a favorite?

I mentioned in one of my first posts for the countdown this month that the circles in this set work well with many of the larger Papertrey floral sets. I thought I'd pull out another floral set and show you how they work together. I used Sending You on my previous projects and today I'm using All About You.

I started with a piece of white cardstock and stamped the lined image from Journaling Lines in Aqua Mist ink. Next, I started stamping my flowers. I stamped the larger outlined flower, from All About You, and then filled in around them using the smaller flowers from that set as well as flowers from Flower Fusion #7. I then went back and colored the outlined flowers in with Copics. After they were colored I stamped the inside of the larger flowers with the circle/flower images from Heart-2-Heart #12.

I stamped the flower stems, from Heart-2-Heart #12, in Simply Chartreuse. The sentiment is from Think Big Favorites #12.  To finish it off before adhering it to my card front I went around the edges and gently roughed it up a bit.

And that is a wrap for me for this release! I hope you have enjoyed all of the projects I have shared with you over the past year using the sets in this series. I'm a bit sad to see it come to an end as I always LOVE these little $5 sets that pack a punch. BUT...a new Papertrey Ink year will be starting next month and I am very excited to see what the next year has in store.

This was a great series. I'm kind of sad to see it end as well. I enjoy the "series" sets because it is fun (and easy) to combine across the sets.

Your Heart to Heart sets along with Heather's were the sets that I decided to add to my supplies!

Hard to believe that we are at the end. You ask which were favourites and when I sat down to think about that, have to say in all honesty, they are ALL favourites, to pick one over the others, would hurt their feelings!!!

I have too many favorites! #3,5,6,7,9,10 ... But if I had to pick just one, it would be #9 with the sweet pair of birds, and I've even used the cake upside-down for a flower pot. Thanks for a fun and versatile series!

Beautiful card today Melissa, I love the colour palette! It has been a wonerful series and i can't pick a favourite, but I will say that I use Heart-2-Heart #1 over and over again--so versatile!

i'm sorry to see this series end. they are all so creative & versatile. if i had to choose a favorite though it would be the telephone, as i used to be a telephone operator a long time ago. the $5 price tag is a big help too. i use your sets so often. the designs & the sentiments are just perfect.
