These cold temps we've been having make me want to do nothing but stay inside, drink warm tea and work in the studio! I know we've got a ways to go before the warmer temps hit but I am so ready. Ready for flip flops...gardening...the sandy beach...flowers blooming and so much more!
So since the flowers aren't blooming outside I thought I'd make them bloom inside! :) This card I have to share with you today was created with polka dot washi tape, the Button Card die and the Bloom Builders #3 die.
I first added my washi tape ( I purchased this at Target in the scrapbooking section ) around the edges of my card. Next, I added a piece of Berry Sorbet cardstock in the center. I stamped my Button Card using the images from the Button Boutique stamp set. My flower was die cut out of Sweet Blush cardstock and then attached to my button card. I added a Pure Poppy button and leaves that were die cut from the Sending You die collection and stamped with the Sending You stamp set. I also tucked a Peaceful Poinsettia leaf in there.
The sentiment 'Happy Birthday' is from the stamp set Delightful Dahlia. Lastly, I added a row of pearls on either side of my card.
I hope you all have a wonderful day! Thanks for stopping in!
~Melissa

Such a cheery card. Warmer temps will be here soon, but in the mean time, studio time is good time.
