Heart-2-Heart #9 - Day 5

Welcome back to the final day of the October Papertrey Ink countdown. My latest set, Heart-2-Heart #9, will be available on the Papertrey Ink website tomorrow, October 15th at 10pm. Here is a review of  this set...

Heart-2-Heart #9

Up first for today is this sweet and simple wedding card. I used quite a few different images in the new set. To start I die cut 3 of the cake images...one is Raspberry Fizz, one is Hawaiian Shores and one is New Leaf. I cut them apart and then layered them all together for a colorful wedding cake. I used the swirly image in the set and stamped each layer in white ink. After adhering it to my card front I moved on to add the rest of my images.  

Using all of the same colors I created this next card. Again, I die cut a cake image but this time out of white cardstock. I added a strip of glitter to each layer and then added a die cut heart, from the Flipping Out die collection. My three strips of cardstock were all embossed with the Background Basics: Diamonds Impression Plate. Lastly, I added two die cut doves, the swirly image and my sentiment.

Love the bright colors on the Smokey Shadow base. Adding the vellum is the perfect touch! Great cards.
