Heart-2-Heart #9 - Day 3

Happy Friday everyone! I'm back for day 3 of this months Papertrey Ink countdown and have another project to share using my newest set, Heart-2-Heart #9.

Purple, green, orange and yellow....kinda halloweeny, right? Love these colors together and thought they would make a pretty wedding card. I started with my Lavender Moon card base and stamped the left side with one of the floral background images from Background Basics: Botanicals. I die cut my cake out of Orange Zest cardstock, attached it to the white and then added a scalloped border along the bottom.

To create the little flower for my cake I cut a piece of Harvest Gold felt using scalloped scissors and then rolled it to create the flower. The leaves were die cut using the Heart-2-Heart #7 die collection. I added a few pearls above my cake and one in the center of the flower, a strip of glitter and a Simply Chartreuse button. And lastly, one of the sentiments from H-2-H #9 was added.
