Peace, Love & Joy + Heart-2-Heart #8 - Day 3

Hello again and happy Wednesday! I'm back for day 3 of this months Papertrey Ink countdown and have two more cards to share with you all today. Let's jump right in...

Up first...

This first card features one of my favorite color combos and LOTS of different stamp sets together. I thought it would be a good idea to show how Peace, Love & Joy could also be used for cards other than holiday cards. Here are the sets and dies I used to create this one...

• top Aqua Mist flowered strip - Background Basics: Botanical
• middle Pure Poppy striped strip - Way to Go, Kiddo!
• bottom Spring Moss strip - Background Basics: Woodgrain
• large tree - Floral Foliage die
• sentiment border strip - Double Ended Banner dies
• 'you' - Heart-2-Heart #5
• heart in large tree - Heart-2-Heart #3 die
• leaves - Flower Fusion #11
• the small tree - Heart-2-Heart #8

After I die cut my Heart-2-Heart #8 tree I stamped over it with the flower background from Backgruond Basics: Botanical.

 

The second card for today also uses the word LOVE from Peace, Love & Joy but this time I created a holiday card with it. I started with my Aqua Mist card base and then added a strip of Bitty Dot Basics paper along the left side. My sentiment was stamped onto a piece of Vintage Cream cardstock. 'With LOVE this holiday season!'...this is just one of the many different ways you could stamp your sentiments in this set.  I added a few other details to finish this one off....a Leafy Vine strip, another heart and one end of a Double Ended Banner.
