Welcome back for day two of this months Papertrey Ink countdown. A friend of mine just celebrated a birthday and I created a little gift ensemble for her using the new Heart-2-Heart #7 so I thought I would share that with you first today.
For her card I started with a piece of white cardstock and stamped my stems and flowers first. Next, I stamped my leaves. Instead of stamping them one of top of the other I turned my leave image and stamped it along each side of my stem. Just a little more versatility for you when using the images in this set. The sentiment and little tab on the side are part of the Back Pocket Basics set. I die cut the heart from the Flipping Out die collection and added it to the center of my larger flower and added two tiny rhinestones to the other two.
I created a little felt envelope out of Pure Poppy and Harvest Gold to put her gift in. I also created a matching tag using the Tag Sale #1 die and die cut letters for her name using the Uppercase Block letter dies.
Using the same color combo I created this card, this time stacking the leave images one on top of the other in different colors. 'I miss you' is one of the sentiments included in the Heart-2-Heart #7 set.
Next up is a couple of cards using Happy Haunting.
Who says monsters and ghosts have to be scary? I started by die cutting my ghost/monster out of Summer Sunrise cardstock and then added her googely eyes and mouth. Along the bottom I added patterned paper from the Distressed Dots collection, a strip of Lavender Moon cardstock and Fresh Snow ribbon.
And up last for today is a trio of happy little monsters. I simply die cut them all out of the Distressed Dots patterned paper and then stamped each one with the outlined monster/ghost image in the set. I added their mouths and eyes and my greeting to finish it off!
That completes day two! Thanks so much for taking the time to pop in today. These ladies all have more to share so be sure to pop on over and visit them...
