Welcome to day two of this months Papertrey Ink countdown. Yesterday I shared a card set using my newest set in the Heart-2-Heart series and today I'm going to share the second set I have coming out...Tweet Talk! Both Nichole and Betsy showcased this set in their posts yesterday.
- features 35 images - 6 outlined birds, 6 solid bird bodies, 2 solid birds, a row of small birds, 6 bird tails, 13 sentiments, 1 bird wire
- will retail for $24
- will be available for purchase starting April 15th on the Papertrey Ink website
- has coordinating dies
A shot of all of the dies that coordinate with Tweet Talk.
I started by die cutting a plateful of cheery colored birds! Colors for today....Hibiscus Burst, Orange Zest and Sweet Blush. After die cutting them all I stamped each one with one of the coordinating images in the set.
Card #1 is a cute card to welcome a new baby girl. I stamped my birds onto a piece of white cardstock and then just adhered my die cut birds over those.
'A little birdie told me' is one image and then 'you have a new baby' is another. I added 'girl' to the end of it using the 'It's a girl' image in the Bundle of Love set. I was just careful not to ink up the 'I'ts a'. I added a few pearls and some pink lace to finish it.
For card #2 I used the row of birds. The image contains 4 birds...one on top of the other and I just repeated them until I reached the top of my cardstock. I then went back over and adhered all of my die cut birds over the stamped images.
The base for my large bird was created using the Limitless Layers Circle die collection. After die cutting it I took one of the sentiments in the Tweet Talk set, 'i'm so happy for you', and manipulated it so it would fit around my circle. I then added my large bird in the center...a perfect fit!
Card #3 was created using the Sending You die as a base for my sweet little birds. Underneath that I stamped the solid bird tail on either side. I also punched a hole in the top of my frame and added some Hibiscus Bitty Dot ribbon.
This sentiment is two separate images...'congratulations' is one and 'from both of us' is another.
And lastly for today is this little number. The scallop border along the top was created using the medium scallop border die. After running it through my die machine I punched a hole in the center of each of the scallops. I stamped all of my bird images across the front of my white cardstock and then adhered all of my die cut birds over those.
My sentiment was stamped on a double ended banner. Again this is two sentiments...'A little birdie told me' being one and 'it's your special day' being another.
That wraps up day two for me. I hope you've enjoyed my projects using Tweet Talk. I'll have more to share with you all tomorrow. Dawn McVey is sharing a few projects using my new Heart-2-Heart #3 set and her new Tagged Sentiments and these ladies all have more to share as well...
Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you all have a wonderful day!

This set is really versatile Melissa, I just think those birdies are so so sweet. Your projects today are very inspiring. I am amazed how you are able to line up your stamps inside the dies--I struggle with that all the time. I think you did some hints last year on your blog of how to do that more easily but I can't find it. Anyhow, I love your new set and today's post. :)

Can I just tell you that this is one of the cutest and sweetest stamp sets I have ever seen! Way to go. I hope those birdies are ready to fly south, because they are coming home to live with me in San Diego.

Was wondering when we were going to see the
"pink and green" combo cards!;) Just joyful!
That's the only word I can think of to describe
your cards today. Love both of your new sets,
especially since there's going to be a new
grandniece or grandnephew coming our way in
August. Birds or hearts....I can't think of
anything better for a new baby! Thanks so much
for the inspiration!
