Happy Saturday everyone! This is day five of the Papertrey Ink countdown and I have another card set to share with you. I created this set using Tweet Talk when I was creating the set for Day 1 using Heart-2-Heart #3 but I never posted it. But before I share it let me recap both sets...
The release party starts at 7am EST tomorrow morning, April 15th on the Papertrey Ink forum. Tweet Talk & Heart-2-Heart #3 as well as all of the other products you've been seeing on Nichole's blog will be available starting tomorrow night at 10pm EST on the Papertrey Ink website.
This card set was so simple to make...so simple. Not much to them at all which is a bit out of my norm but they were still super fun to create. To start this set I cut all of my white cardstock as well as my case bases and rounded all of the corners on each one.
The same colors were used on all of these cards...same as on day 1...Hibiscus, Summer Sunrise and Hawaiian Shores. This first card was stamped using the row of four little birds...one of top of the other. After stamping them I added my die cut birds over top of them. I added my sentiment and stamped the solid tail image to each birdie to finish this one.
Here is the large outlined bird with the large outlined tail.
And the two large outlined birds.
Again the large outlined bird with flowers and the large outlined tail.
The large bird again with the medium sized outlined bird image.
And last but not least is the bird wire that is included in the Tweet Talk set along with birds created using the smallest outlined bird image.
All of the sentiments that you see are part of the Tweet Talk set. 'A little birdie told me' is one sentiment and can be stamped separately from the rest of the sentiments.
That does it for me for this release countdown. I want to thank each and every one of you again for all of your comments and e-mails. You all know how to put a smile on my face and it is so appreciated! I have been sooo extremely busy this week that I haven't been able to e-mail any of you back and I'm sorry for that...I normally do but just wanted you to know that I do appreciate YOU!!
And of course don't forget about these ladies...
I'm off to host a baby shower today! My cooking is just about done but I have lots of decorating to do. Hopefully I'll remember to snap some photos and share them with you next week. :)
Until next time...have a wonderful weekend!

Good morning! Are your ready for more projects using Tweet Talk? I have two more cards for you using that set and will have more tomorrow using Heart-2-Heart #3.
I'm going to jump right in...
I purchased a pack of Martha Stewart patterned paper not to long ago and decided to use it on these cards. I added a strip along the side of my card and also die cut my little bird out of it. I die cut a rick rack border strip out of Pure Poppy cardstock and adhered that along the side of my patterned paper.
I stamped my sentiment on a strip of white cardstock in Pure Poppy ink and then added a strip of glitter just underneath it. It's a bit hard to see in the photo but it is there. To finish this card I added a Pure Poppy button and a tail on my bird that was die cut out of Bitty Dot Basics patterned paper.
For this second card I used more Bitty Dot Basics patterned paper. I added a strip down the side and then added another strip of glitter. My birds were die cut again out of the Martha Stewart paper and attached to my card front. My sentiment was stamped in black ink.
To give my card a finishing touch I die cut a few tails and attached them to my birds. I love these little tails because they allow you to either use them alone or do what I did above and create a peacock effect. So fun!
I'm keeping it short and sweet for today! I will be back tomorrow with one final project before the release. Thank you all for taking the time to stop by and visit me today. There is more to see from the rest of the PTI gang...
Have a wonderful day!

Hello again everyone! Before we get started I just want to thank you all for your kind comments and e-mails. I love hearing from you all and so appreciate you taking the time to let me know what you think of my projects and stamp sets. :)
We are midway through this months Papertrey Ink countdown and I have a few more cheery cards to share. All three cards have images from both of my newest sets...Heart-2-Heart #3 and Tweet Talk. They will both be available starting April 15th on the Papertrey Ink website.
I have a very springy color combo for you today...
Let's jump right in to todays projects...
Up first is a birthday card using one of the large birds in the Tweet Talk set along with the double heart image from Heart-2-Heart #3. I used the balloon string from Heart-2-Heart #2 and attached one of my hearts above to create something cute for my little bird to hold on to. My sentiment 'Happy Birthday' is also from Heart-2-Heart #2.
I added one of the smaller tails in the set to my bird and did a little stitching along the top and bottom of my hearts.
Next up is this card using a few images from Tweet Talk. I started by stamping the large solid tail in the set along the side of my card. I then added some Bitty Dot Basics patterned paper and a strip of Lemon Tart cardstock. I added my sentiment and then did my stitching.
I punched a circle out of white cardstock and then used the smallest tail in the set and stamped around the border. The sentiment is from Heart-2-Heart #3. I added my bird, glittery tail and ribbon to finish it.
And last but not least for today. I used more Bitty Dot Basics patterned paper and trimmed my edges with pinking shears and then stitched it to my cardbase. I've had a handful of Heidi Swapp chipboard letters stashed away and used those to add 'tweet heart'.
I added my birdies and my sentiment, both from Tweet Talk...
and my hearts to complete it!!
That's all for day 3. I'll be back with more for tomorrow and I swear there will be NO PINK!! :) I promise! I didn't realize til I started uploading my pictures for this post that I had used pink all 3 days. Now I LOVE pink...you all know that but I'm ready for something different, how about you?!
There is still a lot to see from the rest of the PTI gang...
Til tomorrow...enjoy your day!
Happy Birthday

Welcome to day two of this months Papertrey Ink countdown. Yesterday I shared a card set using my newest set in the Heart-2-Heart series and today I'm going to share the second set I have coming out...Tweet Talk! Both Nichole and Betsy showcased this set in their posts yesterday.
A shot of all of the dies that coordinate with Tweet Talk.
I started by die cutting a plateful of cheery colored birds! Colors for today....Hibiscus Burst, Orange Zest and Sweet Blush. After die cutting them all I stamped each one with one of the coordinating images in the set.
Card #1 is a cute card to welcome a new baby girl. I stamped my birds onto a piece of white cardstock and then just adhered my die cut birds over those.
'A little birdie told me' is one image and then 'you have a new baby' is another. I added 'girl' to the end of it using the 'It's a girl' image in the Bundle of Love set. I was just careful not to ink up the 'I'ts a'. I added a few pearls and some pink lace to finish it.
For card #2 I used the row of birds. The image contains 4 birds...one on top of the other and I just repeated them until I reached the top of my cardstock. I then went back over and adhered all of my die cut birds over the stamped images.
The base for my large bird was created using the Limitless Layers Circle die collection. After die cutting it I took one of the sentiments in the Tweet Talk set, 'i'm so happy for you', and manipulated it so it would fit around my circle. I then added my large bird in the center...a perfect fit!
Card #3 was created using the Sending You die as a base for my sweet little birds. Underneath that I stamped the solid bird tail on either side. I also punched a hole in the top of my frame and added some Hibiscus Bitty Dot ribbon.
This sentiment is two separate images...'congratulations' is one and 'from both of us' is another.
And lastly for today is this little number. The scallop border along the top was created using the medium scallop border die. After running it through my die machine I punched a hole in the center of each of the scallops. I stamped all of my bird images across the front of my white cardstock and then adhered all of my die cut birds over those.
My sentiment was stamped on a double ended banner. Again this is two sentiments...'A little birdie told me' being one and 'it's your special day' being another.
That wraps up day two for me. I hope you've enjoyed my projects using Tweet Talk. I'll have more to share with you all tomorrow. Dawn McVey is sharing a few projects using my new Heart-2-Heart #3 set and her new Tagged Sentiments and these ladies all have more to share as well...
Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Day 1 of this months Papertrey Ink countdown has arrived and I'm looking forward to sharing my projects with you over the next five days. I have two sets coming out this month but for today I'm going to focus on the newest addition to the Heart-2-Heart series.
I decided to make a sweet little set of thank you cards...keeping each one simple with not a lot of extra embellishing or bling. I started by die cutting a bunch of hearts using the coordinating heart die and then stamped each one with the hearts in the Heart-2-Heart #3 set. Notice the patterns on the hearts...yup, they coordinate with both Heart-2-Heart #1 and Heart-2-Heart #2 which makes using all of these little sets that much more versatile! :)
Each of the cards were stamped with both sentiments in the set...'Thank you' and 'Your thoughtfulness touches my heart!'. A doily in the corner gives each one that little something extra!
This is just the beginning of the countdown. I'll be back tomorrow with projects using the second set I have being released this month, the birdies. Think 'tweet'! ;) You can get a peek of it today by checking what Nichole and Betsy have to share!
Have a wonderful day everyone and be sure to pop in and visit these ladies...
See you tomorrow!

I have yet another card for you on this Monday morning using stamps from Mint Motif. When creating the card in THIS POST I punched a bunch of extra flowers out and used a few more on todays card. Extras are always nice to have on hand!
Here's a plateful of them using more patterned paper from My Mind's Eye.
And here is my card. If you'll notice I stamped and heat embossed the left side of my card using the polka dot background image in Beyond Borders, Too.
I added a few of my flowers along with some leaves I punched out using a Martha Stewart leaf punch and a few buttons. 'Wishing you a day that is special' is one of the many sentiments in the Simply Sentiments set. Both Simply Sentiments and Beyond Borders, Too are available exclusively through i {heart} papers!
That's all I have for today, my friends! Thank you all for stopping in. I hope your day is fabulous!
Supplies:
Stamps: Simply Sentiments & Beyond Borders, Too (Mint Motif)
Cardstock: Vintage Cream (PTI), Versamark
Patterned Paper: My Mind's Eye Tickled Pink

TGIF everyone! I hope you have all enjoyed your week. I have another Mint Motif card to share with you today. This one was made with both of Mint Motif's newest sets...Beyond Borders, Too and Simply Sentiments. You can find them both on the i {heart} papers website.
I've had these red chipboard letters for a LONG time and put them to use on this card. I used the 'happiest birthday to you' stamp from Simply Sentiments and stamped it onto my cardstock being careful not to ink up the 'you'. My flower for the 'o' was created out of twine, felt and a rolled flower made from My Mind's Eye Dilly Dally collection.
The bottom portion of my card was stamped with the chicken wire background image from Beyond Borders, Too.
There are quite a few sentiments in the Simply Sentiments set that have a 'you' at the end. These could easily be replaced with a 'you' like the one I created above. Just gives you another option when creating with sentiment sets, which I love! :)
That's all for today. Have a wonderful weekend and a Happy Easter!
Supplies:
Stamps: Simply Sentiments, Beyond Borders, Too (Mint Motif)
Cardstock: Vintage Cream (PTI)
Patterned Paper: My Mind's Eye Dilly Dally collection
Ink: L'Amore Red Palette
Accents: Vintage Cream ribbon, rustic twine, Pure Poppy & Simply Chartreuse felt (PTI), red chipboard letters
Tools: SU oval punch, Delightful Dahlia leave die

Today I'm sharing a card with you using the newest sentiment set from Mint Motif...Simply Sentiments. This set is chalk full of sentiments that cover so many different occasions and is available exclusively through i {heart} papers.
It seems like punches have sort of taken a back seat to die cutting so I decided to pull out my flower punches and show them a little love for this card. I used two of my retro flower punches from EK Success and patterned paper from My Mind's Eye.
I added a button to the center of each of my flowers and a strip of cream ruffle edge trim along the bottom. I trimmed a couple of pieces of felt for my leaves and gave each one a quick stitch down the middle on my machine.
'Hoping the best things in life will always be yours' was stamped in dark brown and a few pearls were added to complete it!
I hope you are all enjoying your week. Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Til next time...
