Hello everyone and welcome to the first Papertrey Ink countdown for the new year! Well, the first for 2012 but last for the Papertrey year. I have projects to share with you this week using my last set in my Flower Fusion series. I'm a little sad that it has come to an end but that just means that a new Papertrey Ink year will be starting and lots of new goodies will be coming your way! YEAH!
Flower Fusion #12:
- features 7 images - 1 flower, 2 flower centers, 1 stem/leave image, 3 sentiments
- will retail for $5
- will be available for purchase starting January 15th on the Papertrey Ink website
- has coordinating dies
I just adore this set! This one features a plaid flower, two button centers and scalloped leaves. Also, a few inspirational sentiments which I'll share with you tomorrow.
It's been quite awhile since I've made a simple set of notecards so I thought that's just what I would do today. So simple and so easy to mass produce. I created 3 sets just so I could keep them on hand for last minute gifts.
There are 6 cards total in each set. I started by stamping the stem/leaves in Ripe Avacado on all 18 pieces of white cardstock (these were trimmed to 3.5 X 4.75). I then stamped the flowers on all 18 cards in the colors shown above.
All of the sentiments you see are from Asian Fusion.
I also stamped all of the envelopes so they would match the cards. I love doing this...just makes the cards a little extra special! :)
That's all from me today but there is still lots to see from these ladies....
See you all tomorrow. Enjoy your day!
Supplies
Stamps: Flower Fusion #12 (available January 15th), Asian Fusion
Cardstock: white, Kraft
Ink: Pure Poppy, Ocean Tides, Hawaiian Shores, Ripe Avacado, True Black
Other: rustic cream twine

I simply LOVE this little plaid flower - its so sweet and homespun. And stamping the envelope really does add a special touch. Can't believe number 12 has come round so fast!

If I had to choose, the Flower Fusion series would be the stampsets to keep forever. The simplicity and clean crisp designs are so easy to work with and i love your color combo inspirations! Thank, Melissa

P.S. I'm a bit shy to ask, but do you think the shop will have the lovely lace again in stock? New year, new possibilities, hi hi!

These are such pretty, soft colors. I absolutely love the checkered design on this months flower. Anyone would be happy to receive these as a gift. Stamping the envelopes is so much fun and really completes the look. You certainly did save the best 'til last.

Beautiful card sets, Melissa. ;-) Love the new flower set. And I'm a little sad that the Flower Fusion series is ending, too! But I'm happy to have them all in my stamping collection now. ;-) Thanks for designing them, and thanks for all your fabulous inspiration throughout the last year of the series. You're amazing!!

So sad this is the last set in the series but so glad I will end up with all 12 awesome FF sets! They are my "go to" sets and I love all the choices I have to mix and match them. Super color combo. The plaid flowers w/the button centers, and the so cute leaves w/the scallop design, create sweet images! What a fun, creative design you have brought to us. Looking forward to seeing what you will do next. :)

The flowers are gorgeous. The twine amplified the impact of the design and stamping flowers into the envelope to match the design of the card is such a great idea. Way to go Mel! Love your designs!
