Flower Fusion #12 - Day 5

Welcome everyone to the final day of this months Papertrey Ink countdown. I have truly enjoyed sharing my projects with you over the past five days and can't wait to see all of the beautiful projects you create with the newest addition in the Flower Fusion collection.

I have a lengthy post for you today so lets jump right in! 

First let me recap the set being released on the 15th...

Flower Fusion #12:

Since this is the final post for the Flower Fusion series I thought I would create my projects using all of them together!  All 12 sets = endless stamping possibilities!!!!

To start my final projects for today I ran ALL of the Flower Fusion dies through my die maching using the following cardstock...

• Sweet Blush
• Aqua Mist
• Hawaiian Shores
• Hibiscus
• Raspberry Fizz
• Pure Poppy

 

Card #1: I stitched around the edge of the Bitty Dots patterned paper, added a doily and then a piece of Hawaiian Shores cardstock that I die cut with the Button Card Collection. I die cut a bunch of the Flower Fusion stems (I forgot the take a picture of those) when I die cut the flowers and adhered two of them to the front. I stamped my sentiment, from Flower Fusion #12, and added Aqua Mist ribbon and a button to finish this one.

Card #2: I started with my white card base and then added Raspberry Fizz cardstock, Aqua Mist cardstock that I trimmed with my pinking shears and a polka dot border that I created with the medium scalloped border die. 'Thanks for making me smile!' is from Flower Fusion #3.

Card #3: For this one I started by adding a strip of the black Bitty Dots paper along the side. Next, I added my die cut leaves and flowers. These flowers are all from Flower Fusion #6 . Black brads were added to the centers of each one. I die cut a tag using the Tiny Tag dies and stamped my sentiment, from Flower Fusion #8.

Card #4: The sentiment on this one is from Flower Fusion #8. I added the flowers and then added buttons the centers of most of them.

Card #5: I did more stitching around the edges of this one and then added Aqua Mist cardstock to the front. I trimmed the leaves out of the die cut stems and added them under my flowers, added Aqua Mist ribbon and my sentiment. This one...'Have a wonderful day!' is from Flower Fusion #1.

And last but certainly not least is a 8 X 8 scrapbook page. YES, SCRAPBOOK! It has been YEARS since I've scrapbooked and I have missed it tremendously. One of my goals for this new year is to start doing it again. And who says you can't use stamps on your scrapbook pages! :) My craft room colors are all the colors you've seen in todays post so this page will fit in there perfectly!

I had some Heidi Swapp chipboard letters from a long, long time ago tucked away in my drawer so I pulled those out and put them to use on this page. Below the 'smile' I stamped 'Laugh every day!' from Flower Fusion #10.

I used another tag from the Tiny Tags die collection to write the date.

Flower Fusion #12 - Day 4

Hello again everyone! We are almost there...just one more day to go until Flower Fusion #12 and the rest of the new Papertrey Ink items you've been drooling over will be available. Have I mentioned just how much I love this plaid flower? I have, I know but I just thought I would mention it again. :)

Todays colors:

 

  

I started with a sheet of white cardstock and stamped my flowers and flower centers using the colors shown above. The cardstock measured 5.5 X 11 so after it was completely stamped I could simply fold it in half and would have my A2 card base.

And here is the card I created with it. My sentiment (from FF #12) was stamped in black ink in the center of a frame created with the Fillable Frames #1 die.

 

I die cut my flower and stamped the flower image inside with Summer Sunrise ink. The stem/leaves were stamped onto a piece of cardstock and then I trimmed just the leaves and adhered them under my flower. I added a lace doily underneath and a strip of glitter along the side.

Here you can see both the front and back of the card. Love the end result and will be doing this more in the future! 

Next up is just a sweet and simple little card. Super easy for mass producing! I simply stamped all my stem/leaves across the bottom of my white card base and then stamped my flowers.

Using my glue pen I added glitter to the centers of each of the flowers. 'Happy Birthday' is from Birthday Basics.

On the back of this card I stamped one of the images from Trademarks and then stamped the flower and stem above. Again, it just adds a special touch to carry over your design from the front of you card.

And last but not least for today I created another card using more of the patterned cardstock I created above.

The flower is sitting on a frame I created using the Sending You die. 'I believe in you' is part of the FF #12 set. I added a Spring Moss button and a strip of glitter to finish this card.

Flower Fusion #12 - Day 3

Hello! Hello! Hello! ! I'm back for day 3 of Papertrey Ink's January countdown and have more cards for you using the newest little flower in the Flower Fusion series. Flower Fusion #12 will be available starting January 15th on the Papertrey Ink website. Let's jump right in to todays post...

 Todays colors...

 

  

Up first is this little number. I stamped the scalloped stem/leaves from Flower Fusion #12 onto a piece of white cardstock and then adhered my flower that I die cut using the coordinating FF #12 die.  'Hello friend' is from Think Big Favorites #3. I added a row of pearls below the sentiment and some Sweet Blush ribbon and button to finish it off.

For this next card I used a combination of a few Flower Fusion sets. The plaid flower, from Flower Fusion #12, is in the center, Flower Fusion #3 is on the left and Flower Fusion #11 is on the right.

I die cut the stem/leaves using the coordinating Flower Fusion stem die. I added pearls, Sweet Blush ribbon and a button to this card as well. No sentiment needed on this. So girly and sweet, which I love!!

Flower Fusion #12 - Day 2

Hi everyone and welcome to day two of this months Papertrey Ink countdown. I'm so happy to hear you all like the little plaid flower in Flower Fusion #12. I've been having so much fun stamping with it and creating projects for you. Amazing how one little $5 set can bring so much joy and a ton of creative ideas!

Here is another color combo for those of you who are saving them....

The three cards I created for today are all a bit more detailed and embellished than yesterdays.

So for todays first card I started by die cutting 3 flowers and 3 flower centers. I die cut them using white cardstock and then stamped them in the colors shown above. There are two button centers for the flowers...these were stamped with the solid button center.

After die cutting my flowers I moved on to adhering all my elements. The flowers are all sitting on a circle I die cut using my Nestabilities.  The leaves are from Beautiful Blooms.  Along the bottom of my card I attached a piece of Berry Sorbet cardstock and then added two strips of glitter.  'I believe in you!' is one of the three sentiments included in the set.

For this next card I used a few different Flower Fusion sets....Flower Fusion #6 & #7 as well as the newest, Flower Fusion #12. I randomly  stamped the flowers onto Vintage Cream cardstock and then rounded the corners on both that piece and my card base. I added a few pearls, Berry Sorbet ribbon and a Dark Chocolate button.

I LOVE this sentiment! Just a little reminder that we all need every now and then...NEVER, EVER GIVE UP!!

And lastly for today is this sweet little card! I started by stamping my cardbase using Background Basics: Chevron Stripes. I had this aqua velvet trim in my stash and added that to the top and bottom of the stripes. My flower was die cut and then the solid button center was added. That was adhered to a tag created with the Tag Sale #5 die.  Lastly I added some twine and my sentiment...the last in the set.

Introducing Flower Fusion #12 - Day 1

Hello everyone and welcome to the first Papertrey Ink countdown for the new year! Well, the first for 2012 but last for the Papertrey year. I have projects to share with you this week using my last set in my Flower Fusion series. I'm a little sad that it has come to an end but that just means that a new Papertrey Ink year will be starting and lots of new goodies will be coming your way! YEAH!

I just adore this set! This one features a plaid flower, two button centers and scalloped leaves. Also, a few inspirational sentiments which I'll share with you tomorrow.

It's been quite awhile since I've made a simple set of notecards so I thought that's just what I would do today. So simple and so easy to mass produce. I created 3 sets just so I could keep them on hand for last minute gifts.

There are 6 cards total in each set. I started by stamping the stem/leaves in Ripe Avacado on all 18 pieces of white cardstock (these were trimmed to 3.5 X 4.75). I then stamped the flowers on all 18 cards in the colors shown above.

All of the sentiments you see are from Asian Fusion.

I also stamped all of the envelopes so they would match the cards. I love doing this...just makes the cards a little extra special! :)

Happy New Year everyone!
