Flower Fusion #10 & Think Big Favorites #10 - Day 5

Hello everyone and welcome back for the final day of this months Papertrey Ink countdown. I hope you have enjoyed all of the projects I've shared with you over the past five days. Don't forget that tonight is the release party...it starts at 10pm EST in the Papertrey Ink forum.

I have a few more cards for you today using both Flower Fusion #10 and Think Big Favorites #10 but before we get to those let me recap both of these sets for you....

I have another bright and cheery color combo for you today. These are the colors of my stamp studio and I love, love, love them!!

For all 3 of the cards I'm sharing with you today I used Simply Chartreuse as my card base. I also used some of my 'leftovers' I had from my previous projects this week. I embossed the piece of Hawaiian Shores cardstock using the Polka Dots ll impression plate. 

I used the coordinating Flower Fusion #10 die and stem/leave die to create my flower. I die cut a second stem/leave and cut just the leaves out and adhered them over the first one to give it a bit more dimension. The sentiment 'Happy Healing' is from the Healing Touch sentiment set. That was stamped on a banner that was die cut from the Double-Ended Banners die.

For this next card I started by stamping the lined image from Way to Go, Kiddo! onto a piece of white cardstock. Each flower was die cut with the coordinating Flower Fusion #10 die and then embellished with buttons, floss etc. The leaves were die cut from the Flower Fusion stem/leave die. 'Feel better soon' is one of the sentiments included in the Think Big Favorites #10 set.

 

And last up for this months countdown is this simple and sweet card. I stamped the stem/leave image from the Flower Fusion #10 set across the front of my card base. I then die cut my white flowers and stamped each one with one of the three flower centers in the set. I added a bit of glitter to each center, a sentiment from Think Big Favorites #4, Fresh Snow ribbon, a Hawaiian Shores button and a border created with the Edgers #1 Collection.

Flower Fusion #10 & Think Big Favorites #10 - Day 4

Welcome back once again for day four of this months countdown peeks! I've so enjoyed the past few days sharing projects with all of you using Flower Fusion #10 as well as Think Big Favorites #10, both of which will be available starting the 15th on the Papertrey Ink website. Thank you all so much for your comments during the past few days. As always you are all so appreciated!! :)

Today's colors...something bright and cheerful.... 

So up first for today I started by cutting 4 pieces of cardstock in the colors shown above. Each one measures 1.25  x 4.25. I used the flower from Flower Fusion #10 and stamped each piece in its coordinating color.

The circle was punched out with my EK Sucess 1.75" circle punch and then stamped with images from Tag It's #3. I added stitching, Fresh Snow ribbon, a Raspberry Fizz button and leaves I trimmed from the Flower Fusion stem/leaves die.

For this next card I put my die machine to work. I die cut all of the flowers and stems and stamped each one before adhering them to my card front. The flower centers were punched out of Bitty Dot Basics patterned paper. The sentiment is from Think Big Favorites #4. A piece of gingham ribbon and a button complete this one.

Last up for today is another card created with a white card base. Love working with white...need to do it much, much more! Again I used Tag It's #3 and used the wreath image to create my background. 'Feel better soon' is from Think Big Favorites #10 (available November 15th). The green strip was made with the Double-Ended Banners die. I added a couple of rhinestones and a bit of glitter to my flower center to finish this one.

Flower Fusion #10 - Day 3

Happy Saturday all! We are mid-way through this months Papertrey Ink countdown and I have more goodies to share with you today. So many new and amazing things coming out this month including my latest, Flower Fusion #10. Everything you've been seeing will be available starting November 15th on the Papertrey Ink website.

For all of todays projects I started by using my coordinating Flower Fusion dies and my trusty die machine. I love mass producing a bunch of images at once. If I don't end up using them all on the cards I'm working on then I can add them to my 'leftover' pile and use them later. Makes it so convenient for a quick, last minute card.  

I used all of the same elements on these next four cards but gave each one a different layout. I embossed each of the card bases with the Background Basics Diamond impression plate.

***In yesterdays post I mentioned that I used the Background Basics Diamond impression plate on all four cards. I completely messed up there...I actually used the Background Basics Polka Dot ll impression plate. Whoops!***

The sentiments are all from Sending You. They were stamped on white cardstock that was die cut with the Fillable Frames #4 die.

I added stitching and pearls to finish each card.

Next up for today is a little card I created using 2008 Bitty Box Basics patterned paper.  I used my 1.25" square punch to create these squares you see above.

After laying out my squares in a pattern I was happy with I adhered them and then machine stitched giving it a quilt like feel! The frame that my sentiment and flowers are sitting on was created with the Button Card die. 'You make me happy' is from All About You & All About You Additions. I added my flowers, pearls and a white bow to finish it off.  

And last but certainly not least is this sweet and simple little number. Sometimes it's nice to have a card that has no sentiment so I left this one blank. Perfect for many different occasions! Some pearls and a bit of white twine comlete this one!

Flower Fusion #10 & Think Big Favorites #10 - Day 2

Hello, my friends and welcome to day two of this months Papertrey Ink countdown. I have a few more cards to share with you today using both Flower Fusion #10 as well as Think Big Favorites #10. They are both $5 sets and both will be available on the Papertrey Ink website starting November 15th.

For todays colors I chose to work with a palette a little out of the norm for me....

First up...I created a plate full of die cut felt flowers. These were made with Terracotta Tile felt and then I added black brads to the centers. I created a bunch of stem/leaves with the die but completely forgot to get a shot of them before I started creating my cards. All of the stem/leaves were created with Vintage Cream cardstock and each one was stamped in black with the matching stem/leave image from Flower Fusion #10.

On each card I added a piece of Hawaiian Shores cardstock that has been embossed with the Background Basics: Diamonds impression plate. 'Laugh every day'...from FF #10.

'Smile' is from Flower Fusion #8 and was stamped 3 times in black ink. I used the Double Ended Banners die to create the two strips on the top of my card.

I used both sentiments from Flower Fusion #10 on this next card. A Vintage Cream bow, some lace and twine complete this one.

And lastly......'Feel better soon' is from Think Big Favorites #10. More flowers, leaves and twine finish this one.

Introducing Flower Fusion #10 & Think Big Favorites #10

Hello again! So sorry for the delay this morning. Pesky computer! I'm not sure what the problem was but thankfully my husband got it back up and running for me. So without wasting anymore time lets get straight to todays first countdown post.

the stem die you have all been asking for! YEAH!

Not only will I be sharing projects today with the newest Flower Fusion set but also the new Think Big Favorites. This set features 2 sentiments from the set, Healing Touch.

Todays colors...

So for todays projects I first started by using both the flower and stem die and running it through my die machine with Vintage Cream & Simply Chartreuse felt. I used embroidery floss to add a bit of color to each of my flowers.

For this first card I used two of the flowers I created above and then created some smaller flowers. To make these I used Melon Berry felt and ran it through my die machine once again with the coordinating Flower Fusion #10 die. I then cut the center of the flower out so I just had the petals left and rolled  it until it looked like a rose. For the leaves on the flowers I simply trimmed the stem off the die cut pieces and used just the leaves.

'Wishing you brighter days'....love the larger version of this sentiment!! This is one of the two sentiments in Think Big Favorites #10.

Up next is this little number. I used 2008 Bitty Dot Basics patterned paper and layered that over a piece of Vintage Cream cardstock. I then used my pinking shears to trim around the edges. I added another one of the flowers I created and the flower stem and leaves I had created out of the felt.

Love the sweet Picket Fence die.

I used the Double Ended Banners die for my sentiment on this card as well as the last card. 'Enjoy the little things!' is one of the two sentiments included in the FF #10 set.

 

And lastly for today is this sweet and simple card using both the Flower Fusion #10 die again as well as the stem/leave die. The flower was created with Vintage Cream cardstock. I stamped one of the three flower centers onto a piece of Melon Berry cardstock and then punched it out with a .75" circle punch. All 3 flower centers coordinate perfectly with that size circle punch.

'Laugh every day!' is the second sentiment in this set!

Morning everyone! Sorry I have no post to share at the moment. I'm having a bit of trouble with typepad and uploading photos. I have been working on it for the past 24 hours and will continue to until I figure out what is going on. Thanks so much for your understanding! :)
