Welcome everyone to the final day of this months Papertrey Ink countdown. I have really enjoyed spending the last 5 days with you sharing projects using my latest set, Flower Fusion #8 and also projects using the coordinating dies for Merry & Bright. Thank you all for visiting and sharing your thoughts with me over these latest additions to MelissaJ Designs!
**Flower Fusion #8 and the Merry & Bright die will be available on the Papertrey Ink website starting September 15th!**
I have one last color combo for you today. Don't be surprised if I keep sharing new color combos in future blog posts. :)
Up first for today are a few cards using the Merry & Bright die. On card #1 I started by stamping the dotted circle image from Merry & Bright onto the bottom of my card base. On a piece of Stampers Select white cardstock I stamped my sentiment, also from Merry & Bright, and then attached my two trees. The trees were both stamped with the lined tree images from the set...it's hard to tell from the photo but they are there. The tiny stars, from the die, were added to my trees along with a few pearls and some Pure Poppy Bakers Twine.
For card #2 I started by stamping a piece of Stampers Select white cardstock using that same circle image that I used on the first card, this time in Pure Poppy. I also used one of the tiny stars from Merry & Bright to stamp the center of each circle in Aqua Mist ink. I added my tree, a scalloped border, Aqua Mist ribbon and pearls to finish it.
For this last card using the Merry & Bright die I started by stamping my sentiment onto white cardstock again and then added Aqua Mist scalloped border to each side. I did a little machine stitching down each border and then added my Pure Poppy tree. A bow, created out of Pure Poppy Bakers Twine, was added to my tree top along with a pearl.
I can't wrap up the final day without atleast one more card using Flower Fusion #8. I used 2008 Bitty Dot Basics paper along the bottom and then added a strip of Hawaiian Shores cardstock and stitched them.
My flower and sentiment are sitting on a frame created with the Fillable Frames #1 die. The flower was created out of Hawaiian Shores felt and then pearls were added.
Well my friends, that completes the countdown for this month. The release party will start tonight at 10PM EST on the Papertrey Ink forum. And these ladies have one more day of projects to share as well....
Thank you for stopping in today! I'll see you all soon! :)

Love your cards Melissa! Can't wait for this release! It is so full of things I love that I will probably have to acquire over time! Lots to look forward to! :)

I thank thee that I am none of the wheels of power but I am one with the living creatures that are crushed by it.
