Hey there friends! How are you all doing today? We are mid way through the Papertrey Ink countdown for this month and I have more goodies to share with you. Flower Fusion#7, along with all of the other new stamp sets you've been seeing, will be available for purchase on the Papertrey Ink website starting August 15th.
For today I thought it would be fun to make a set of birthday cards using some bright and cheery colors and a few different Papertrey Ink dies. You will see Flower Fusion #7 here and there on these cards and also one of the sentiments from the new addition to Think Big Favorites...Birthday Wishes!
I used Kraft as the base for each of the cards and then embellished with Raspberry Fizz, Hawaiian Shores and Simply Chartreuse.
Here is a close up shot of all the dies used on these cards!
And in this next photo I noted the name of the die and which stamp set it coordinates with.
A few other things I used on each of these cards....Funky Town patterned paper and lots of glitter!!
Card #1...I stamped the solid flower from Flower Fusion #7 in the center of the Beautiful Blooms ll #1 flower die.
Card #2...The created the pillow by stamping the small solid flower in the set onto a piece of Raspberry Fizz cardstock and then punched it out with a circle punch.
Card #3...The flower on the teapot was made with Hawaiian Shores felt and the coordinating Flower Fusion #7 die. I scrunched it up a bit and then added a rhinestone to the center.
Card #4...The butterfly antennae is from Little Lady. The body of the butterfly was trimmed out of Hawaiian Shores felt.
Card #5...On the smaller gift box I stamped the large outlined flower.
Card #6...The small outlined flower was stamped over the gift box on this card.
Well my friends, that wraps up the third day! I hope that you have enjoyed what I've shared and that the cheerful colors brighten your day! I'll see you bright and early tomororw with a new project to share...think tags! ;)
Be sure to stop by and say hi to these ladies....

Another great post. One can never have enough birthday cards. You have shown that pulling out your dies and cutting out some basic shapes you can put together a set of cards in no time. Thanks again.

Wow! I just love what you've done with the die-cuts, new FF and the Think Big stamps. The FF#7 as the flower center looks great. I am so pleased to see all the ways I can use what I already have, with what I will buy this month. Kudos! :)
