Welcome everyone to day 4 of Julys Papertrey Ink countdown. I have a few more cards for you today using two of my sets that will be released on the 15th. Let's get right to them....
For todays first two cards I started by cutting strips of cardstock. The colors I chose...Pure Poppy, Terracotta Tile, Orange Zest and Summer Sunrise.
I used Flower Fusion #6 for both cards and stamped them onto a piece of white cardstock that was die cut with the Button Card Collection die. The flower was stamped in Pure Poppy and the stem/leaves in Simply Chartreuse. After I attached the strips of cardstock I added a few strips of glitter.
I kept the layout the same on this next card but instead of glitter I stamped the outlined flower image from Flower Fusion #6 on the strips instead. This flower was stamped in Orange Zest. To finish both cards I just added some ribbon, a button and a small pearl in the centers of the flowers.
Up next I created a frame out of white cardstock and glitter. Yup, more glitter! You all know I can't live without the stuff. ;)
I used Sweet As Can Be for this card. I stamped the cone in True Black ink in the center of my frame and then added my felt scoops on top.
The dotted patterned paper is from my new patterned paper collection, Funky Town, which will be released on the 15th along with the stamps and all the other Papertrey Ink goodies you've been seeing.
I used the sentiment 'sweet' from Sweet As Can Be and then used 'GIRL' from Sweet Baby to create my sentiment.
That's all for today from me! Be sure to pop on over to visit these ladies....
Thank you so much for visiting! See you all tomorrow! :)

Hi Melissa!
Ha ha, I always love the glitter on your projects, but I hardly ever use it myself. Don't know why exactly, a bit because I'm not totally sure on how to add it and if it will stick on the card... I looove your glitter frame!!! So pretty!!!
Hugs, Wendy

Beautiful cards. I love the way you created the gradient in the first photo with the glitter strips over the part where the blocks meet. Looking forward to the release tomorrow night! ;-)

I like the cheery, bright paper strips on your FF#6 cards. Stamping the image on the strips looks great. Yummy ice cream card and that glitter frame sets it off. :)
