Hey there everyone! Welcome back to day 4 of the Papertrey Ink countdown for June. The group post yesterday....AMAZING, wasn't it! All of the projects using Sweet Baby and Bundle of Love were truly stunning!!
So, for today I have a couple more projects for you using Bundle of Love and Flower Fusion #5.
For the first project I started by die cutting 6 of the Tag Sale #4 tags in Vintage Cream cardstock. I then stamped the stork image on the front of each one in Dark Chocolate ink. I made sure to stamp the stork more to the right so I had room for my baby image.
Next, I stamped the stork 6 times in Dark Chocolate again...this time on a sheet of Aqua Mist cardstock. If you like to paper piece like I do the stork is pretty easy to trim out. These were then adhered over the stork images on the tags using foam adhesive.
After they were all embellished this is the end result! For each of the cloth pieces I started with a sheet of the 2009 Bitty Dot Basics patterned paper...the Soft Stone. I stamped the baby image onto that 6 times and then using the small flower in Tag It's #3 I stamped each of the cloths in various colors....Summer Sunrise, Hibiscus, Plum Pudding, Ripe Avacado, Melon Berry, Berry Sorbet & Hawaiian Shores. They were then trimmed out and adhered over the baby image with foam adhesive.
I also created a matching card. These could easily become birth annoucements by adding all of the babies info to the inside of your card. Or you could create something like this for a baby shower....use the tags to hang off a gift or favors.
Here are the tags all together. It's hard to tell from the photo but in the impressed circle around the tag I added glitter. I used my glue pen and ran it along the indentation and then sprinkled glitter. Also, on the storks wing I outlined it using a coordinating Copic marker and then added a bit of glitter to that as well.
I had a few flowers left over from when I created the card set from day 2 and thought I'd make another card using those. Berry Sorbet, Hibiscus and Scarlet Jewel are the colors of the flowers.
Berry Sorbet cardstock was the base for my Distressed Dots patterned paper. I trimmed the left side with my pinking shears and then sewed Simply Chartreuse ribbon down the side.
To finish it I added a fabric bow, Simply Chartreuse felt leaves and one of the sentiments from Healing Touch.
I'll be back tomorrow with my final projects using all three sets. Be sure to stop by and see what the rest of the Papertrey crew have to share...
And Lizzie Jones also has more to share using the new set she helped create, Rhythm & Soul!
See you all tomorrow!! :)

I'm loving your samples and sets as usual! I enjoy paper piecing too and you really do it so well ... love all the little details on the cloth on the stork cards. ADORABLE!!

Beautiful projects, Melissa. I love the paper piercing and the glitter effect on those stork tags, and the extra effort you went to on the baby bundle fabrics. That flower fusion card is fabulous! I love the ribbon on the side, and those white fabric pinking-sheared bows are just awesome. ;-) I am so excited to order tomorrow night!

I like your baby cards/tags! This FF#5 card is so neat! Love the stacked flowers! Reminds me of a triple dip ice cream cone. Heehee! The scrunched ribbon is a great addition to the card, too. Can't wait to get the set and die! :)
