Flower Fusion #3 - Day 5

Hello! Hello! Hello! Are you all ready for the last day of this months Papertrey Ink release countdown?! Thank you all SO much for your comments and e-mails over the past 5 days. I love hearing from you all and reading your thoughts on my latest set...Flower Fusion #3! I hope that I've been able to show you just how versatile and fun these little sets can be. :)

Here is a shot of the supplies I used for my first two cards...

The sentiment 'Thanks for everything' is from Year of flowers: Violets.

Lots of dimension on this baby....the frame and both flowers were adhered with foam dots.

Same colors and supplies used here. 'Birthday Wishes' is from Asian Fusion.

For my final card today I used...

Beautiful Blooms #2 & Fillable Frames #1 dies

I used Way to Go, Kiddo! and stamped the notebook lines along the bottom of my frame. I stamped the stem/leave image from Flower Fusion #3 over that and then added my flowers. I ran my fabric & Beautiful Blooms dies through my machine and then stamped each one using the flower images from Sending You.

I created a strip of glitter using the colors you see above. My daughter thinks it looks like a stick of fruity gum. :)

'You made my day' is from Flower Fusion #3 and 'Friend' is from Friends Til the End.

Flower Fusion #3 - Day 4

Day 4 of this months Papertrey Ink countdown is here....welcome back everyone!! I have a few more projects to share with you all today using my newest set in the Flower Fusion series....Flower Fusion #3. It will be available through the Papertrey Ink website on the 15th.

I chose to keep my cards a little more toned down for todays post....a little less bling and fluff. :) I went with Kraft cardstock for all 3 of my cards. Let's jump right in, shall we...

I'm kinda in love with this first card! This isn't my normal card style but I love it's simplicity and love how those Raspberry Fizz flowers add just the right amount of color and pop. After running my Raspberry Fizz cardstock and Flower Fusion #3 die through my die cut machine I stamped each flower with one of the two larger flower images in the set with Fresh Snow ink. The leave/stem image was stamped onto New Leaf cardstock in Fresh Snow ink as well and then the leaves were cut out. I created the stripes on the Kraft cardstock using the line image from Background Basics: Retro.

'Sending you a happy hello' is from Sending You.

Here is a shot of all the supplies I used for the next two cards.

For card #2 I made my flowers out of Melon Berry, Simply Chartreuse and Fine Linen felt. The polka dot paper is from 2009 Bitty Dot Basics.

The sentiment on this is from Big & Bold Wishes. 'Thank you' was stamped in Fresh Snow and the rest in Melon Berry.

I'll leave you with one more simple card for today. Again using the same materials I used in the card above with a few added extras. This sentiment...'You made my day' is from Flower Fusion #3.

Flower Fusion #3 - Day 3

Day 3 of the Papertrey Ink April countdown has arrived and I have more to share with you today using Flower Fusion #3. I'm excited that so many of you love these little sets as much as I do. Thanks so much for letting me know and leaving me such kind comments and e-mails! :)

Let's get right to business today....

Here is a picture of pretty much everything I used for todays project. I labeled everything in the picture except the ink which is Berry Sorbet and Dark Chocolate. I thought it might be easier for you all to have a visual of all the supplies! ;)

Back in February when Flower Fusion #1 was released I created a set of tags. You can see them HERE. I thought it would be kinda fun to create another set using Flower Fusion #3.

On each of the tags I stamped the gridline background from Background Basics: Geometrics off to the side. I'll give you a quick run down of what each of the flowers were made with on each of the tags:

cork & FF #3 flower die
Pure Poppy cardstock
Bliss fabric (this is the only one that was not created with the FF #3 die...I just rolled a long piece of fabric into a rose/flower)

Pure Poppy felt & embroidery floss
Vintage Cream felt & one of the Beautiful Blooms #2 flower dies for the bottom flower, Bliss fabric & FF #3 flower die on top
Pure Poppy felt & FF #3 die for bottom flower, Vintage Cream cardstock & FF #3 die on top flower...I stamped that in Berry Sorbet using one of the flower images in the set

Bliss fabric & FF #3 flower die for the bottom flower and Vintage Cream felt & Beautiful Blooms #2 flower die for the top
Vintage Cream cardstock & FF #3 flower die, both top and bottom flower were stamped in Berry Sorbet using one of the flower images in the set
Bliss fabric & FF #3 flower die.... I created 5 flowers and then hot glued them all together to create a 'messy' more dimensional flower.

Flower Fusion #3 - Day 2

Hello there my crafty friends!! Welcome back for day two of this months Papertrey Ink countdown and more projects using my newest set, Flower Fusion #3. I have to say that I love this little $5 monthly flower series so much more than I thought I would. I was so excited when creating it and so SUPER excited when it was accepted for the 2011-2012 Papertrey line up. And now I can't stop using them! :)

**Flower Fusion #3, will be available starting April 15th on the Papertrey Ink website.**

For today I have yet another set of bright and cheery cards for you. One of the things I love about this series is the mixing and matching possibilities! With all the sentiments, flowers and leave/stem images in each set you have endless stamping options! So worth the $5, don't ya think?! :)

So for today's color combo I chose....Orange Zest, Summer Sunrise and Hibiscus Burst. Can you tell I'm dying for summer to get here?! LOL! I used the flower dies from Flower Fusion #1, #2 and #3 for these cards along with 2008 & 2009 Bitty Dots patterned paper.

I used the leave/stem image from Flower Fusion #3 and stamped it 3 times on each piece of white cardstock in True Black ink. I wanted the stems to be at different levels so I placed a scrap piece of paper along the bottom and stamped my stems where I wanted them.

'Have a wonderful day!' is from Flower Fusion #1.

'You made my day!' is from Flower Fusion #3.

'Thanks for making me smile!' is from Flower Fusion #3.

Flower Fusion #3 - Day 1

Welcome to the first day of this months Papertrey Ink release countdown. Hard to believe it's that time again but I am super excited to start sharing projects with you using my newest set...Flower Fusion #3. Before we get started here is a quick run down of the set...

Flower Fusion #3....

features 7 images (2 larger flowers, 1 small flower, 1 flower center, 1 stem/leave image, 2 sentiments)

has a coordinating die that will be sold separately

I thought I would start this countdown with two of my very favorite things ....mini cards and fabric.

Before we even begin I want to share a little tip if any of you like to use your dies with fabric like I do. This took me a few times of my fabric not cutting well and looking frayed before I had an AHA moment. When running your die and fabric through your die cut machine place a piece of cardstock over the fabric before running it through. This will give your die something to grab onto and will leave you with a crisp piece/image.

The fabric I used for todays cards is Bliss by Bonnie and Camille for Moda ! Oh how I LOVE this fabric!!

Some of the materials I used on these cards....Pure Poppy felt, Berry Sorbet cardstock, Ripe Avacado & Pure Poppy ink, Pure Poppy ribbon, Background Basics: Retro stamp set and pearls.
