Welcome back for another day of this months Papertrey Ink countdown. How are you all doing? Just one more day until you will be able view my new sets, Sending You & Flower Fusion #2 in full, as well as the rest of this months Papertrey Ink goodies! I have a few more projects for you today using both sets so let's get right to it, shall we?
Here is a shot of all of my projects for today. Color combo for today.....Pure Poppy, Ocean Tides, Aqua Mist & Spring Moss.
This first card features images from both sets. I started by stamping my card base with two of the leave images from Sending You. Next, I stamped my sentiment 'You are so thoughtful' onto a piece of white cardstock in True Black ink and then stamped the stem and leave image, from Flower Fusion #2, next to it in Ripe Avacado. I used the coordinating flower die with some Pure Poppy felt to create my flower and finished it off with an Aqua Mist button and some bakers twine. And of course a little glitter!! :)
I created the same flower for this next card and attached it to a white circle Nestability. I stamped the scalloped circle Nestability underneath it with the leaves like I did on the first card. 'Sending you my gratitude' is one of the sentiments from Sending You. A strip of Aqua Mist ribbon finished this one.
For this next card I started with a few post it notes that I ran through my Cuttlebug with the Beautiful Blooms #2 flower dies.
Next, I placed the flowers on my cardstock and using my paper piercer and foam pad poked holes along the border of the flower.
After placing the flowers where I wanted them and poking the holes I stamped the flowers from Sending You in the center of each one using Spring Moss ink. Then using DMC floss I stitched around the border of each one.
****A while back I created a DMC floss chart with all the colors that matched the Papertrey Ink colors. I haven't updated it in a while but there are quite a few on there. The ones I used above are....
- Ocean Tides - 926
- Aqua Mist - 3811
- Pure Poppy - 347
I added a few leaves and stamped a second, smaller flower inside each one. A strip of Pure Poppy ribbon and rhinestones completed it!
That's all I have for today but there is still more to see from Nichole, Heather and Maile. I'll see you right back here tomorrow with my final projects for this months countdown!
Thanks so much for visiting today! :)

Thanks so much for sharing that and also taking the time to note the DMC Floss numbers that coordinate with PTI colors. I really didn't think I needed another flower set, boy was I ever wrong. :o)

I love the embroidery stitching on these cards and the colors are delightful. Now I can find a use for the floss I acquired when I was into cross-stitching years ago - LOL!

How beautiful these cards are, and the stitching is such a great idea. Love it.
I use your DMC floss chart with the PTI colors all the time. Most of the time I want coordinating thread through my PTI buttons, so it comes in very handy. I cannot wait to see what you have for tomarrow.
