Hi everyone and welcome to day 2 of this months Papertrey Ink release countdown. I am so, so happy that you are all excited about Sending You. I have been having a ball stamping with it and keep thinking of new ways to use it. I have a list on my desk of ideas and it seems to keep growing and growing. Gotta love that! Still so much to share with you using that set!!
For todays project I mixed a little of Sending You and a little of Flower Fusion #2. Both sets will be available for purchase starting March 15th on the Papertrey Ink website. Here's a bit of info for you about the next installment in the Flower Fusion series:
- there are 7 images - 2 large flowers, 2 small flowers, 1 leave/stem image, 2 sentiments
- will retail for $5
- has a coordinating flower die
- available March 15th
Lets get started...
Using the die that coordinates with the frame image from Sending You I created these 'tags'. The frame image was stamped in True Black ink.
The stems from Flower Fusion #2 were stamped in Chartreuse Palette ink in various different angles on each one.
Next, I wanted to create tags out of these so I marked the top center of each frame with a little dot and then flipped my punch upside down and lined the dot up in the center of the hole and punched it out.
Here they are stamped with some of the sentiments from Sending You.
I chose to work with blues for this project...shocking, isn't it? Not a single bit of pink in this whole thing. :)
I ran my chosen papers and cardstock through my die cut machine with the coordinating Flower Fusion #2 die.
And then stamped them all with one of the two large flowers in the set.
And here they are all together. A simple little tag set that would be perfect for many different occasions. I really love how you can use this frame image in more ways than one.
That's a wrap for day 2! More to come tomorrow using Sending You! And there is still more to see today....
all have lots to share!
Thanks for stopping by today!
