Women of Life {Project 11} - LAST ONE
I am SO excited.....we made it! TONIGHT is the night! Are you all ready?! The release party will be held at the Papertrey Ink forum beginning at 8pm EST. I hope to see you all there! If you have any questions about 'Women of Life' I will be there with bells on to answer them!
For my last project I used an 8 X 8 wooden frame that I picked up at my local craft store for $1 (gosh, I love it when alterable items are so cheap).
I cut a piece of patterned paper to 8 X 8 and turned it over so the back was showing. I placed my frame upside down on the back of the paper and traced with a pencil around the center.
After tracing I used my xacto knife and cut around where I had traced.
This is what it will look like after you have done that. I glued the paper to my frame (you could also use mod podge if you wanted) and then used my Basic Grey sanding tool kit to sand down the edges around the outside and inside.
I finished it off by adding flowers from 'Women of Life' that I embossed with black embossing powder. I layered those over Bazzill shimmery flowers and added a few little red flowers from Fancy Pants. I added rhinestones all the way around the frame opening.
The poem I printed off reads:
'A friend is one who strengthens you with prayers, blesses you with love and encourages you with hope'
Have a GREAT day everyone! I will see you all tonight for the BIG release!!
