We're almost there! Only 4 more days to go and then you will be able to purchase this set 'Women of Life' all for yourself from Papertrey Ink. I CAN'T WAIT to see what you all create with it!!
Here is another simple gift idea that would make a great housewarming gift, welcome the neighborhood gift or a birthday gift for your loved one. You will need plain white thin dish towels for this project. I bought mine in a pack of 4 for just under $4.
I stamped my stems using Chartreuse Palette Hybrid ink and the flowers using Boudoir Blush (one of my VERY favorite Palette ink colors). These inks are permanent and will stay bright even after having washed the towels over and over. All I did for the tag is punch out a scalloped circle using Marvy's Mega Scalloped Circle Punch. I stamped my large flower using Boudoir Blush again and Sunflower for the center. The swirly leaves are stamped in Chartreuse. I stamped 'Aunt' across the middle of the flower and then tied ribbon to hang it around my candle. How easy was that?! Now that I look at it I wish I would have done it in a different color. It's not til after the fact do I realize that Boudoir Blush is a color I have been using over and over again. Tomorrow's color....BLUE!
Thanks for visiting!!

What a neat idea. Hybrid inks are great! Did you need to heat set them at all? If so, how?
Love the color combo (it would never get overused IMHO)
Great work, again.

I am completely into stamping on onesies (a la Nichole Heady) and the design you did on the dish towels would be DARLING on a onesie or a little t-shirt, wouldn't it?! I can't wait to try it out!
